Negotiation and communication skills are vital for working with others in the department and colleagues elsewhere and obtaining a fair share of departmental and granting agency resources.
From learning the vocabulary of negotiation, to setting limits, and finding common ground with just about anybody, this workshop will help participants develop strategies and skills in obtaining time and resources needed to perfom their jobs effectively while preserving professional relationships with colleagues who either control or compete for those same resources.
