Psychology, B.A., B.S.

Bachelor of Arts in Psychology

Students will gain a better understanding of human behavior and an enhanced awareness of themselves and society, as well as skills for analyzing and evaluating information and data. The BA program also encourages various avenues for experiential learning with practical career-related and hands-on research experience.

Provides increased scientific, methodological and content preparation for students wanting to pursue graduate work in psychology. The course sequence and requirements have a greater emphasis on math, science and research methods courses; require research experience; and focus students on course selection toward the goal of future specialization. The BS program is meant to help prepare students for doctoral programs in psychology and other social sciences, as well as medical school.
