Marine Affairs, B.A., B.S.

The Marine Affairs B.A. is an interdisciplinary study of the effective marine and coastal management. Subject areas include management of fisheries and marine ecosystems, coastal management, and maritime transportation and ports. The B.S. program puts a heavier emphasis on science and mathematics, with specialty areas that include: fisheries and marine ecosystems, coastal management, maritime transportation and ports, and ocean policy. This degree provides a strong educational background for continued study in law—especially environmental, fishery, coastal zone, admiralty, and ocean law.
