4-Year Wabash Study – URI results in! Success of the Visit on March 28th

Over 75 faculty and staff attended the Wabash visit on March 28th and heard Charles     Blaich and Kathy Wise describe the overall results of the 4-year longitudinal study, as well as information targeted to URI.  The morning session was a wonderful opportunity to embark in an open conversation with programs in Student Affairs, in particular Univerisity College, to describe multiple areas in which URI is excelling in and areas that need additional attention.  Invitees participated in discussions and identified feasible next steps for faculty and staff to explore further in each department in order to increase student achivement. In the afternoon, faculty and staff were invited to attend an additional presentation of the results, and to give feedback based on their own experiences.
