Graduate Programs Recruitment Specialist (Contract)

Description: The College of Business is seeking to hire a graduate programs recruitment specialist. This individual will report to the Associate Dean of Graduate Programs and Research and work alongside graduate program directors to achieve graduate program enrollment goals for the College of Business.

The individual is expected to employ consultative sales techniques to identify and follow through with prospective graduate student leads. Other responsibilities include supporting applicants from initial inquiry through enrollment and accountability for achieving recruitment quotas for assigned programs including applications and enrollment. It is expected the individual will develop an understanding of assigned programs with general knowledge of the College of Business program portfolio and engage prospective students about benefits, value added differentiators, and opportunities. This individual will also work with the College of Business Employer Relations team to identify and secure corporate partnerships that will enhance enrollment in College of Business graduate programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated sales ability.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain customer data.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume workload (including handling inquiries through a combination of phone, email, chat, in person, Zoom/Webex meeting, etc.).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours (including nights and weekends, as needed).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in higher education student recruitment.
  • Experience in relationship-based sales or consultative based sales requiring in depth product knowledge.
  • Experience in building corporate partnerships with higher education institutions.

Contract Terms: Up to 12 months – renewable upon successful completion of sales goals.
Salary: Commensurate with experience (Hourly)
