Biography

Gulver received her Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Istanbul Technical University in Turkey and received her Masters of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a Masters in Statistics, both from the University of Florida. Prior to entering the doctoral program she worked as a consultant in the finance industry. Gulver taught Managerial Decisions Analysis II courses in the undergraduate program at the University of Florida.

She is a member of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS), Manufacturing & Service Operations Management Society (MSOM), Production and Operations Management Society (POMS), and Decision Science Institute (DSI).

Research

Gulver’s current research interests include channel selection decisions, channel coordination and competition between online and social network enabled channels, competition between traditional and online educational programs, and pricing decisions as well as panel data analysis to predict the winning bid and search for collusion affects in sealed-bid contracts.
