Ryan Maguire

Biography

Father, illustrator, designer, and teacher, Ryan Maguire specializes in visual innovation, creative strategy, and curriculum development for academic and commercial applications. Ryan’s career in education started in 2001 at the The Art Institute of Boston and has continued since at Lesley University, the Community College of Rhode Island, the Jamestown Art Center, and the Jamestown Melrose Elementary School. Courses taught include: Visual Thinking, Conceptual Development, Experimental Illustration, Obsessions & Phobias, Principles of Illustration, Typography, and Graphic Design. Projects and clients include; Hasbro Inc, Monster.com, Small Army Inc, Transformers, Clean Ocean Access, Tyler’s TALL Tales Children Book Series, Think-Shape-Grow Education Program, and The Oliver Hazard Perry Tall Ship.
