Aquatic Fitness


Senior Water Exercise

(During Winter Intercessions, class times will change during Revised Facility Hours).

This is a safe non-jarring water aerobics exercise program which improves stamina, strength and flexibility. These programs are designed to meet the needs of individuals over the age of 55 years. This class consists of a full-hour of water exercise using a variety of aquatic exercise equipment, music and movements designed to work each muscle and joint.

Mondays / Wednesdays / Fridays 8:30 – 9:25 a.m.
Mondays / Wednesdays / Fridays 9:30 – 10:25 a.m.

Note: During Revised Facility Hours, class times will be reduced.  Participants will be notified by the instructor in advance.

Fall Semester: September 9th – January 17th, 2014

SWE A: September 9th – October 18th, 2013
SWE B: October 21st – November 27th, 2013
SWE C: December 2nd, 2013 - January 17th, 2014

Spring Semester: January 22nd – May 9th, 2014

SWE D:  January 22nd – February 21st, 2014
SWE E:  February 24th – April 4th, 2014
SWE F:  April 7th- May 9th, 2014

Summer Semester: May 19th – July 30th, 2014

SWE G:  May 19th – June 27th, 2014
SWE H:  June 30th – July 30th, 2014 – Class meets at 7:00am & 8:00am

Member Fee Options: Must be 55 or older to participate

$15 / Session
$45 / Semester for Fall or Spring
$30 / Semester for Summer

Non-Member Fee Options:  Must be a member to participant in program.

Hydroaerobics

Days Times
Mondays / Wednesdays 6:30 – 7:15 p.m.
Tuesdays / Thursdays 12:15 – 1:00 p.m.
This is a fast-paced class which provides a challenging cardiovascular workout. Water provides extra resistance on the muscles and also reduces the impact of movements on the joints. No swimming skills required. This class can accommodate beginners and advanced participants.

Session Dates 2013 – 2014:

Fall: September 9th, 2013- January 21st, 2014
Spring: January 22nd – May 9th, 2014
Summer: May 19th – July 30th, 2014 (Only 6:30 – 7:15 p.m. class)
Summer: May 20th – June 19th, 2013 (Only 12:15 – 1:00 p.m. class)

Member Fee Options:

$100 per Session for Fall or Spring
$75 for Summer 6:30 – 7:15 p.m. class
$40 for Summer 12:15 – 1:00 p.m. class

Non-Member Fee Options:

$200 per Session for Fall or Spring
$150 for Summer 6:30 – 7:15 p.m. class
$80 for Summer 12:15 – 1:00 p.m. class

Membership Discounts / Benefits
