As a URI graduate with an MS in education, my passion lies in helping others learn. In addition to teaching a variety of fitness class formats, I am here to help students develop their careers as group ex instructors. My office is located in the Wellness Resource Center (lower level of the Anna Fascitelli Fitness and Wellness Center) – please stop in and let me know what YOU think of our program!

I currently teach a weekly power yoga class at the University of Rhode Island and am part of a developing teacher training program at Rhode Island Power Yoga in North Kingstown. Since completing my training, I exclusively teaches the LLT practice, which is grounded in pranayama, or breath management. It embraces yogis at all stages, from beginner to experienced, and can be modified to suit everybody AND every body. The practice synchronizes breath and movement in a unique format, and instills a focus and flow that will follow you off the mat and into daily life.
