Student Leadership & Involvement
Student leaders are vital to the Feinstein Civic Engagement Program and are even more essential to the future of Rhode Island. Below are some ways to get engaged in leadership opportunities in the Feinstein office:
Civic Engagement Leaders
Civic Engagement Leaders lead community service experiences through the “Feinstein Experience” every fall and spring semester. CELs earn 3 graded credits while enhancing leadership skills and inspiring positive community engagement. We look for energetic and passionate students that are interested in inspiring their peers to get engaged in the community. No service or leadership experience required! Just a great attitude and desire to get engaged and make a difference in the community. Recruitment takes place every October and February.
URI Students Actively Volunteering & Engaging in Service is a senate recognized student volunteer organization at URI that meets weekly and coordinates monthly service projects. Recently recognized with the 2013 Rainville Team Excellence Award, URI S.A.V.E.S is the best place to start your service leadership journey at URI. They are not affiliated with any one non-profit organization or issue and are open to students of all experience and interest levels! For more information visit them on Facebook or email email@example.com.
URI Service Corps – Alternative Spring Break
