Feinstein – Volunteer Search

Looking for ways to get involved in your community? GREAT!

1. Careers for the Common Good Fair– Held every Fall semester, this is a great event to stop by in order to meet local agencies in need of volunteers, interns, or even employees! It is a great way to network and learn how to be more engaged in the community. Fall 2017 – The CCG Fair will be on Monday, September 18th from 11AM-3PM on the Quad!

2. Facebook – If you are on Facebook you should like URI Clearinghouse for Volunteers so that you can receive the most up to date volunteer needs! These are usually volunteer opportunities happening in the near future (usually within 10 days).

3. Log into RhodyNet to view long term and one-time volunteer needs! Click on “Volunteering & Civic Engagement.” The Feinstein Experience is a great resource for one-time service projects that are all-inclusive (transportation provided).

4. Search for opportunities using one of the many online search engines!

5. Check out the following list of agencies in Rhode Island. To see if they have opportunities, visit their website and contact them directly.
