Pam Maloof – East Greenwhich, Rhode Island

Pam began her riding career at the age of 8. As a junior, she was very successful in both the equitation and hunter divisions. Pam is the sole proprietor of Faith Hill Farm (est. 1991), located in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. She trains approximately 100 students, of all ages and abilities, boards 30 horses, and coaches the University of Rhode Island Equestrian Team.

Pam maintains an aggressive show schedule and focuses the majority of her efforts in developing and showcasing her students. She is working toward her Instructor Certification under the mentoring of Eckart Meyners and her USDF Bronze Medal with her nine year-old Rheinlander Gelding by World Cup II.

In 2002, Pam attended the International Academy Equestrian Studies (IAES) in Germany and in 2004 returned to the Academy with seven of her students. Also, in 2004, she attended the Eckart Meyners/Eva Rainsborough intensive training symposium at the University of Lunenburg. She regularly trains with Judy Westlake, Eric Horgan, and Karl Mikolka and hosts regular clinics with Judy Westlake, Eric Horgan, and Evi Rainsborough for her students.

During the summer of 2005, Pam participated in Eckart Meyners clinics in Colorado, Maryland, and Texas, where she rode with Hannes Mueller. Pam is looking forward to teaching Eckart’s Balance In Motion philosophies in Minnesota in February of 2006 and attended another Eckart Meyners clinic in Georgia in April of 2006.

Pam prides herself in developing her students as quality horsemen, leaders, and citizens. Much emphasis is placed on exposing her students to many different areas of riding such as hunting, hunter pacing, trail riding, horse trials, and dressage shows. Pam integrates her thus far acquired skills from Eckart’s “Balance in Motion” philosophies and techniques, and her decades of experience to provide excellent competitive instruction to her students. She is thrilled with the positive results and measurable improvements that are evident in both horse and rider.
