Ultimate is very much a skill sport and players will only improve with time as they learn about the many aspects of the game. Learning the sport takes patience as well as willingness to practice throwing on one’s own time. There is also a great deal of running involved, as play is in constant motion. Developing the throws may take time to master but being able to just toss can be taught quickly. We take players from all athletic backgrounds and those that have never played a sport.
The team practices 3 days per week, Mon/Wed/Fri, from 4pm to 6pm Tournaments occur throughout the semester and usually last two days (always weekends). Aside from our home tournament, which occurs once a semester, some other tournament destinations include: Brown University, UMass Amherst, Lemony Fresh in East Greenwich RI, New England Open in South Hamilton, MA and South Carolina for Spring Break.
