Notes on DVDs
All CMA supported classrooms are equipped to play DVDs and most can play Blu-Rays as well.
But what about homemade DVDs and Blu-Rays?
If you make your DVD/Blu-Ray from your personal computer the best course of action for playing it in class is to test it in the classroom in advance or to play it from a laptop.
Why? Well, as your computer’s programs update, the format of media information put on the DVD changes as well. This can sometimes make it impossible for our Blu-Ray/DVD players to read the homemade DVD since it could be in a newer format that the players do not recognize.
