What is your responsibility as a 2016 URI Energy Fellow (i.e. what team are you on/where are you working)?
Working with URI Cooperative Extension on the Efficient Buildings Fund.
I assist Rhode Island municipalities with energy consumption baselines, provide technical support with energy management plans and municipal comprehensive plans.
I work with tools available in the energy sector for energy data baselining, benchmarking, and measure and verification, with a focus on ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager. In my energy fellowship I am looking forward to showcasing my project and program successes through means of a presentation to the university community and energy colleagues. The most rewarding part of my job is interacting with real-world aspects of the energy field and learning new and interesting concepts every day related to my intended major.

In my free time I like to…
In my free time I like to take advantage of the wonderful outdoors. I love hiking and have hiked more than thirty beautiful trails in Rhode Island. It gives me a great opportunity to reconnect with nature. I also enjoy gardening in my back yard with a variety of vegetables including corn, green beans and kale.
