Graduate Certificate in Dyslexia Knowledge and Practice

Admission Requirements

Candidates who meet the following criteria are accepted into the Graduate Certificate in Dyslexia Knowledge and Practice Program:

Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher
Positive dispositions toward teaching and learning (demonstrated through personal
statement and letters of recommendation)

The following are required as part of the application:

Transcripts
Current resume
Two letters of recommendation from personnel in a supervisory capacity qualified to comment specifically on your professional abilities and strengths (for example, principals, department chairs)
Personal statement revealing your rationale for applying to the Certificate program

Cost

The total program cost is $6,000 ($1500.00 per course). This cost represents a substantial savings from standard URI graduate tuition rates.
