URI RhodyNet – An exclusive system for URI students and URI alumni seeking volunteer positions, internships, part-time and full- time career opportunities!

All for Good – Custom volunteer opportunity oriented search engine that is powered by the largest database of volunteer opportunities on the Internet.

Google – Not all community agencies post available volunteer opportunities. You might be able to find a placement by doing a simple Google search. For example, try “service agencies related to homelessless, RI” and see what pops up!

Idealist – Idealist connects people, organizations, and resources to help build a world where all people can live free and dignified lives. Idealist is independent of any government, political ideology, or religious creed. Search for volunteer opportunities, events, and other concrete ways to get involved. – We created this guidebook for students and young professionals seeking careers in the non-profit sector. It includes a detailed rundown of specific fields, organizations, and job titles with strong connections to non-profit work. It also discusses the importance of volunteering, and how donating time can serve as a bridge to a full-time, paid position.

RICOMJOB – Rhode Island Community Jobs (RICOMJOB) is a public e-mail announcement list that seeks to connect non-profit and public interest employers in the state with individuals seeking paid work that makes a difference in our communities. RICOMJOB is a free service supported by the Swearer Center for Public Service at Brown University.

Serve Rhode Island – For individual volunteers the Volunteer Center provides helpful hints for creating a specific profile and effectively searching our database.

South Kingstown Patch – Being part of a community also means giving back. That’s why we make it easy for volunteers to connect with local organizations and provide our own support through the Patch Give 5 program.

Southern RI Volunteers – Southern Rhode Island Volunteers shall provide a supportive foundation to volunteers in service throughout the southern geographic 1/3 of the State of Rhode Island by offering quality, meaningful, and appropriate opportunities through active recruitment, orientation & credentialing, training & placement, follow-up management, and recognition to volunteers.

Volunteer Match – VolunteerMatch strengthens communities by making it easier for good people and good causes to connect. The organization offers a variety of online services to support a community of nonprofit, volunteer and business leaders committed to civic engagement.
