With the concurrence of the President, the Faculty Senate has the authority to formulate policy concerning teaching and research, study, exercise, discipline and government
Articulation between the educational programs of the Rhode Island public institutions of higher education is a matter of considerable importance.
We have shared this draft policy with our Faculty Senate leadership,
Transfer Resource Center, Admission Office, and Provost Office staff. We certainly agree with the
intention of streamlining the transfer process for students and establishing a fluid and viable path to
degree completion for each student.
