The Graduate School invites PhD graduate students to apply for an award to attend the following career conference. The award will cover the fee for attendance at the “Live Only” or synchronous conference for up to 12 students.
7th Annual Online Career Conference for PhDs, hosted by Beyond the Professoriate
The conference will address these unprecedented times and concerns about hiring trends. This year’s conference will therefore provide attendees with 3 things:
- How-to seminars on job searching;
- Career advice for PhDs by PhDs who have successfully launched post-academic careers;
- Career support and advice for grad students and PhDs regarding the job market over the next several months. Hiring will continue though some career sectors may have higher/lower demand, and your job searching technique may need some adjustment. Rest assured we recognize this, and it will be a significant part of our programming.
