The sisters of the Beta Upsilon chapter of Alpha Xi Delta want to welcome you to the University of Rhode Island! Being a part of Alpha Xi Delta at URI is an opportunity unlike any other—it is the chance to create a lasting legacy at the University of Rhode Island! Alpha Xi Deltas at URI will enjoy the full sorority experience, including volunteering with our national philanthropy Autism Speaks, socials and formals, and programming to help you succeed while at URI and beyond! Alpha Xis are involved in many different activities and organizations all over campus. Our sisters are involved in varsity and intramural athletic teams, Student Alumni Association, Women’s Leadership Coalition, hold leadership positions as Greek 101 mentors and URI 101 mentors, and many more.
The timeless ideals envisioned by Alpha Xi Delta’s Founders remain constant throughout the years, inspiring pride in each member to pursue individual excellence. Now a national fraternity with more than 150,000 initiated members, our Fraternity is a progressive organization with college chapters and alumnae associations throughout the United States.
