University Graduate Village consists of 100 apartments used to house graduate students, non-traditional undergraduate students, visiting scholars, post doctoral fellows, and their families.

Application

Applications are currently on hold. URI Graduate Village Apartments are undergoing an extensive program to install a fire suppression system, repair stairways, and complete renovations to all 100 apartments. Current tenants will keep their housing during construction, but unfortunately we cannot accept new applications at this time. We expect to reopen the application in January of 2018.

However, please check the following resources for opportunities to become a roommate in Graduate Village Apartments:

To get to our office:

The Graduate Village Apartment Complex is located on Route 138 across from the entrance to the Boss Ice Arena and the Keaney Athletic Complex.  The apartments are a short walk from the center of campus

When you turn into the entrance to the Graduate Village, bear right at the fork in the road.  Follow the driveway all the way to the back of the parking lot.  If you are driving, park your car here. Continue by walking up the pathway in between the Community Center (located on your right) and the apartment buildings.  You will see a blue sign for “URI Graduate Housing” hanging on the railing of a small staircase which leads down to our office in apartment 615.  We’re directly across from the playground.
