This open enrollment period gives you the opportunity to make changes or enroll in the following benefit programs:
- Flexible Spending Account Health Care & Day Care*
- Group Legal Insurance
- Life Insurance
- Short Term Disability
Elections or changes, including Health Waiver elections or changes, can only occur during the annual open enrollment period unless a qualifying status change occurs during the year. All election changes are effective July 1, 2015.
To make changes or enroll, forms must be submitted to the Human Resources Office by June 12, 2015. Except for Flexible Spending Account elections,* completed forms are necessary only if you want to make changes to your existing coverage or if you want to enroll in one of the above programs.
*All current Flexible Spending Account Participants must make a new election in order to continue participating after June 2015.
Note: The IRS has increased the annual Health Care FSA limit from $2,500 to $2,550. The Day Care FSA annual limit remains at $5,000.
Note: Effective July 1, 2015, the life insurance rates will increase. For information on the new rates, see the Benefits website.
