Think Big, We Do.

improving lives across the lifespan.
With degrees related to education, human development, movement, health, fashion, textiles, and more, at URI's College of Human Science and Services, you can choose from a wide range of programs that all share a common goal: to improve people's lives across the lifespan.
We're one of the most in-demand and fastest-growing colleges at URI, because we offer degrees in career fields that a lot of students want, and where job opportunities abound. But you'll get the faculty and advisor attention that makes you feel like you're the only student here.
You'll work side-by-side with faculty on cutting edge research that could impact the way our industry cares for people - like the invention of a wound dressing that combines infection resistance with blood clotting properties, or the use of technology in physical education. And if you want, you'll have the chance to do internships at such unexpected places as the Olympic Training Center or Gucci NYC.
