The Innovation Award recognizes faculty or staff members for their contribution to innovation, and their implementation of ideas that positively impact the College of Health Sciences. Creativity and innovation can occur in a number of areas including (but not limited to): 1) developing new processes, methods, or systems to improve efficiency, student success, or advising; 2) making CHS and URI a better place to work; 3) establishing successful collaborations with community partner businesses and organizations; and 4) implementing new ideas that positively impact the college, university or public’s well-being.
