STUDY ABROAD WITHDRAWAL POLICY

Before withdrawing from a program, in addition to reviewing the financial impact, we encourage you to discuss the decision with your family and International Education Advisor.  S/he must notify the Office of International Education in writing.

Withdrawal and Refund Policy:

Withdrawing from a program can impact your financial aid for the term. Please contact Enrollment Services to discuss your withdrawal and changes to your financial aid.

Cancellation

If cancellation by the university occur, all applicants will be notified immediately and will receive a full refund of program fees paid to the university.

The university is not responsible for the cost of airline tickets and other travel expenses purchased directly by students, and will not reimburse for such expenses in the event a program is canceled.

Students are advised to purchase refundable airline tickets and/or trip cancellation insurance covering all travel expenses not billed through the university, as they accept the risk associated with these items themselves.

Dismissal

The Office of International Education reserves the right to deny admission and/or withdraw a student from a program prior to departure for any of the following reasons:

  • Disciplinary Action
  • Academic Dismissal and/or Probation
  • Financial holds

The Office of International Education reserves the right to withdraw a student from a program while abroad for the following reasons:

  • Violation of Code of Conduct in Program Agreement

All dismissals based on the above condition will be at the cost of the student and no refund will be issued.
