May 4th – wet weather = plant diseases

Wet weather this week is creating one HUGE infection period for apple scab, but also for mummyberry in blueberries. Even if you sprayed right before the rain started, I think you should spray again this week during a dry spell. Don’t wait for the rain to be over to spray! You want the fungicide to dry on, but it is more important to spray rather than wait for the rain to be finished.
