URI ITS Instructional Technology and Media Services

Explore new technologies and create digital content for teaching and learning

Training and Consultation

ITS provides consultation services to URI faculty, staff and team members who are interested in using technology to enhance teaching or to support research.

Digital Content Production (Animation, Web & Video)

We offer a full spectrum of instructional digital video, web and animation production services. Our staff and students work with faculty to enhance the use of multimedia in their curriculum to enrich the student learning process.

Classroom, Blended, and Online Learning Support

After you consult with the Office for the Advancement of Teaching & Learning (ATL), our ITS staff are available to help you learn the tools that best support your course objectives.

Schedule an appointment with a staff specialist. Have an idea about something new to try with your class? We will connect you with a resource person with whom to discuss options and best practices.

The Chafee 217 Suite includes Staff offices and these service areas:

Instructional Technology Center (ITC), Chafee 208
Digital Production Resource Center (DPRC), Chafee 206

See how some URI faculty and staff, have been using technology tools in teaching, research and administration.
