Studio Production

TV Studio, Chafee 204

A 2008 grant from the Champlin Foundations has provided URI with a complete high-definition TV studio. With state-of-the-art studio cameras, production switcher, recorders, teleprompter, sound mixer and new lighting we are well positioned to showcase your idea.

Options include:

  • Sound track narration.
    Audio can be recorded to be added to your video and mixed with music.

    Narrations or interviews can be recorded in-studio using a large diaphragm professional microphone. Software solutions allow for editing and manipulations as well as adding special effects or music.

  • Class support.
    Instructors may schedule Studio time to provide their students with on camera and/or behind camera experience. Choose from formal, informal or blue screen setting.
  • Campus clubs.
    Campus clubs can use the studio to create programs for airing.

  • Programming.
    Programming can be created for airing in classroom, on the campus network, local access TV, and/or internet streaming.
