Training CDs are available in the URI Library Media Resource Center. They include Macintosh, Windows, and Web applications used within the University community. Basic, intermediate, and advanced levels are available and allow you to learn applications at your own pace without having to go through an entire manual. The CDs can be used in the Media Resource Center or checked out for home or office use. Call 874-4266 for the Media Resource Center’s hours. Click here for a list of programs.
ITS Policy for Staff Teaching a Class or Workshop:
Any ITS staff member who would like to offer a technology-related class or workshop to the campus community may do so. If it is an ITS-coordinated Short Course, workshop, or classroom presentation, the ITS Short Course coordinator will advertise the course, secure a computer lab and required software, and register students. Otherwise, it will be the staff member’s responsibility to advertise the course, secure a computer lab and required software, and register students.
