Information Security Awareness Training

security-iconAlthough Information Security Awareness Training has been available since July 2014, only about 20 percent of faculty and staff computer users have taken it. Training consists of self-paced computer modules that provide education on what faculty and staff can do to help protect, not only themselves, but URI data and systems as well as the entire URI electronic community. The modules can be taken in brief increments of as little as 3-5 minutes each and do not have to be completed all in one day.

We, the users of URI technology systems, not just the technology devices or systems we use, are a primary weakness that can lead to successful attacks and compromises. Learn the steps to protect yourself and your family from Cyber-security threats.
