Local 528 Overtime

COMMENCEMENT 2014 OVERTIME SPECIAL POSTING FOR LOCAL 528 MEMBERS

Please note: shifts will be filled in accordance to state seniority. If local 528 does not meet quota, members of PTAA and ACT will be considered from the sign-up sheet.

ALL INTERESTED EMPLOYEES ARE ASKED TO SIGN UP AT THE SHERMAN BUILIDNG 2ND FOOR, FACILITIES SERVICES ADMINISTRATION OFFICE WITH DIANA MONDRAGĂ“N NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY, MAY 7TH, 2014 AT 4PM.

If you have any questions, please contact Diana @ 4-2723 between 7:30AM-3:30PM.

The University needs approximately 40 people on Saturday, May 17th and approximately 30 people on Sunday, May 18th d to work on overtime basis for Commencement 2014. This work includes setup and breakdown of equipment and supplies, custodial duties, grounds cleaning, and all other jobs relating to the event.

Shift Specifics:

Saturday, May 17th: Lands & Grounds: Report to 210 Flagg Rd Surge Bldg Room 203 at 6AM

M & R: Report to Sherman Building, 6AM

Custodial Services: Report to Sherman Bldg, 6AM

a half hour will be deducted for a mandatory lunch break after 6 hours.

Sunday, May 18th

Lands & Grounds: Report to 210 Flagg Rd ,Surge Bldg Room 203 at 5AM

M & R: Report to Sherman Building, 5AM

Custodial Services: Report to Sherman Bldg, 5AM

a half hour will be deducted for a mandatory lunch break after 6 hours.

Athletic Complex: Report to Jodi Hawkins at Mackal Field House. Saturday & Sunday start at 6:00AM until completion both days, Breaks will be 9:15AM and 4:30-4:45PM , a half hour will be deducted for a mandatory lunch break after 6 hours.

2014 CAMPUS GROUNDS & COMMENCEMENT OVERTIME SPECIAL POSTING FOR LOCAL 528 MEMBERS.

The University needs additional workers to work on overtime basis to assist Lands & Grounds

. perform required cleanup and campus beautification duties. This work includes, but not limited to: planting, seeding, raking, digging, weeding, mowing, trimming, pruning, trash/litter cleanup and other aspects of regular landscape maintenance.

Dates & Times:

Overtime shifts will primarily occur during the week and occasionally on Saturdays beginning approximately around the week beginning April 7th 2014- May 16th 2014. Shifts during the week will be determined by the needs of Lands & Grounds and hours could be 2:30PM-6:30PM and Saturday 6:00AM-2:30PM. These hours are subject to change. Additional dates and times may be added, at which point those who have signed up will be notified from the Asst. Director of Lands & Grounds by phone.
