Nonviolence Minor – Major Hit at URI Majors & Minors Fair

Minor FairThe Center was a major presence at the URI Majors & Minors Fair on Wednesday, October 8 as many students dropped by the display to gather information. Center student assistants, Liz Rogers, Becky Kayode, and Maryam Attapour discussed the various options for interested URI students.

Interested in issues of social justice? Concerned about human rights? Troubled by school, community, and domestic violence? If so, then this is the minor for you.

Want to develop skills in peaceful resolutions to conflict? Have an interest in humanitarian action and nonviolent social change? Your future employees certainly will be interested in YOU.

You may take 18 credit hours (Six 3-hour courses) in NVP and related areas.
