(Level I – 2016)
I am an Episcopal Priest serving St. Augustine’s Church, the Episcopal Center at the University of Rhode Island. Born in Connecticut, I attended schools in the US and England, and have served churches in New York, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. I come to the Summer Institute as a founding member of the Center for Reconciliation (CFR) in Providence, RI. CFR is an expression of the Episcopal Church’s commitment to addressing its complicity in slavery and the slave trade as a step towards racial reconciliation. My wife, Jane, and I have three sons and six grandchildren.
