About: 

My name is Jamyang Tenzin. My nationality is Tibetan, but I live in India. I am working as a teacher in a Tibetan community. I also do volunteer work social service work in various communities.  These volunteer groups include Tibetan Youth Congress and Student for Free Tibet. The aim and objective is to get the freedom back and also to promote and preserve culture and recognition.  I am very excited to attend the International Nonviolence and Peace Studies Summer Institute because I will be able to learn and transfer the knowledge I gain from the institute back to my organizations in India.
