The Pre-College Initiative Program is designed to motivate and encourage youth to pursue an interest in science and engineering majors. To prepare undergraduates for the corporate world and succeed in their academic career, NSBE-URI engages in many professional programs and activities. These activities include events such as development workshops, where students and corporate representatives share their experiences in areas such as resume writing and interviewing techniques. NSBE-URI also has professors and corporate representatives speak to its undergraduates about research and work opportunities as well as provide valuable corporate survival information to our members.
