The College of Nursing recently hosted Catharina Gillsjo. Ph.D., who was visiting from Sweden. Catharina received her Ph.D. from the University of Skovde, Sweden, in 2012 as part of a joint doctoral program between URI’s College of Nursing and the University of Skovde. From 2000 to 2012, the universities collaborated on a number of initiatives, including joint master’s and Ph.D. programs. Catharina was the final graduate of the joint Ph.D. program in 2012.
