Visit us at Nursing
We invite you to visit our beautiful campus throughout the year. See for yourself the exciting things that are happening at URI and learn more about the College of Nursing program.
There are five ways to visit, each tailored to create the best campus experience:
College of Nursing Information Sessions
These thirty minute sessions are especially designed for prospective undergraduate students and their families who are specifically interested in the nursing program. The assistant dean leads this informal, interactive session, which provides an overview of the college and an opportunity to ask questions.
Admission Information Session
The University’s Admission Information Session provides an overview of our academic, living and social opportunities. Led by an admission professional, you’ll learn important details about the University’s requirements and application process. Check the Admission website for dates.
A campus tour includes academic buildings, a typical residence hall and a dining hall. Many visitors choose to attend a College of Nursing (CON) Information Session followed by an Admission Information Session, which offers a general campus tour and time to meet with an admission representative.
URI Open House
The University’s annual fall Open House program provides a comprehensive opportunity for prospective students and their families to learn about the institution and the college. At this event you can meet representatives from departments and organizations across campus. Check the Admission website for more information.
URI Welcome Day (for Admitted Students, by invitation only)
Welcome Days, held in the spring each year, provide admitted students with an all- encompassing visit experience. You can meet our faculty, administrators, alumni and students. In addition, tours of White Hall, the home of the College of Nursing are available. Admitted students are invited by the University Admission Office to this event
