Pharmacy Living and Learning Community
The College of Pharmacy offers a dynamic Living and Learning Community (LLC) in Hillside Hall. Here freshman PharmD. and B.S.P.S. students form a community of scholars, living together in an environment that promotes personal growth, peer support, and academic success. The Pharmacy LLC also provides students with a variety of programs and events designed especially for them.
Participation in student organizations is a vital component of the College of Pharmacy experience. Most students are active in one or more of the following professional pharmacy organizations or other groups, depending on their interests and professional goals.
Student Leadership Council (SLC)
The mission of the Student Leadership Council is foster a sense of community in the College of Pharmacy, to promote academic reform, to advocate health and disease prevention, and to promote political advocacy within our profession.The Council is made up of the presidents/vice-presidents of the College of Pharmacy student organizations. SLC advisor is Dr. Kelly Orr.
The College of Pharmacy recognizes the value of a global education, and the University provides a variety of international options for students.
