The Phase II Health Planning Committee is pleased to provide our recommendations for reorganizing the health units at URI.  The report is linked here and on the image below.  You will be able to provide feedback to the committee in the comments section below, if you so desire.  The committee will also host a public forum in a few weeks (date to be determined) to answer questions and hear your feedback on the recommended plan. Members of the committee are happy to visit with departments to discuss the recommendations, if requested.  

The committee has worked since late February to develop a rationale, plan and structure for integrating the health-focused departments and colleges at URI into one health unit.  We hope that faculty in the departments and colleges affected by the re-organization will be able to vote on the proposal in the next month.  

Please share this information with your faculty.  The Committee has developed an exciting vision and plan for health education, research, outreach, and entrepreneurship at URI.  We look forward to your thoughtful consideration of the plan.
