“A coordinated strategy for developing interdisciplinary Ocean Renewable Energy Program at URI”
In the spring of 2013 and again in the spring of 2014, a new faculty member was hired into this cluster to be part of a university-wide interdisciplinary initiative. The new hires are now working together with colleagues across the University to create interdisciplinary teaching and research opportunities in the fields of sustainable energy. The collaborative for Sustainable Energy for the 21st Century at URI underscores the identification of faculty with a sustainable and/or renewable energy focus, supports their scholarship, and solidifies their ongoing commitment in this area.
The following individuals are now assistant professors at URI as a result of the Cluster Hire Initiative. To learn more about each faculty, click on their to view their profile page.
