Behavior Change Research Center

Quantitative Consultation Center (QCC)

The QCC offers quantitative consultation to assist psychology students, faculty, and staff with statistical analysis and/or interpretation of outputs for research projects. Those interested will be able to make an appointment with a qualified URI graduate student to receive one-on-one support with their research methodology and analysis.

We are fortunate to offer quantitative consulting through email, virtual Zoom meeting, or in-person meeting in Chafee 134.

Please e-mail psystatsconsult@gmail.com  to set up a virtual or in-person appointment.

To orient the consultant in advance, please also fill out the request form at https://forms.gle/vaRgVGkZRH4w1dAV6 to describe your research design, data type, and the specific statistical/computing questions that you have. If you find that none of the consultation hours work for you, it is possible to arrange a time to meet with a consultant via email. Workshops can be offered if there is interest in particular topics. Please feel free to make suggestions via email. Workshops could address statistical topics, and/or software programs (SPSS, SAS, R, etc.). Let us know what you would like.

We are looking forward to helping you with questions about the methodology for your research. Questions regarding statistics pertaining to a class should be directed to an instructor, TA, or the Academic Enhancement Center (Roosevelt Hall).
