Rhody Postcards: Frank Marini ’94

cape-good-hope-stampIn May, I traveled to South Africa with a group of Collette Vacations employees and travel agents from the U.S. and Canada. The trip familiarized Collette’s travel agent partners with this amazing destination—from the open air safari game drive in Kruger National Park to beautiful Cape Town—and showcased the many features included in a Collette vacation. My Collette colleagues and I also served as ambassadors representing the Collette Foundation, our company’s philanthropic division, which donated 300 Hippo Rollers to the village of Kgautswane to help make the daily task of water collection more efficient. The donation was made in partnership with Hippo Rollers and the Kgautswane Community Development Centre. We also delivered school supplies to sites being supported by the Collette Foundation. One of the unexpected benefits of this trip was discovering that my colleagues and I (pictured below) are all URI alumni!
