Community Health Worker Series

With the aging of our population, a renewed emphasis on “aging in place” and the growing burden of long-term care on state Medicaid programs, Community Health Workers (CHW) will likely play a prominent role as the gatekeepers of health care for this population. This series of webinars contribute to developing geriatric specialty curricula for CHWs to augment the growing network of CHW core-competency education and capacity-building programs.
