Geriatric Education Series
The Geriatric Education Series is a continuing education program designed to enhance geriatric competencies of healthcare providers and professionals who provide primary care to older adults, especially those with chronic conditions and complex care needs.
The program includes a series of topic-focused courses, each containing several unique, thematically-linked, learning modules. Completion of all modules within a course will provide the learner with (1) state of evidence-based practice, (2) interdisciplinary care perspective, (3) practical tools and clinical pearls, (4) tips for advancing patient engagement in care, care-planning and medical decision-making, and (5) key resources related to the course focus.
Options for participation include in-person lectures, live/interactive webinars and online self-directed study. Whenever possible, live sessions will be recorded and made available as an enduring session.
Each individual learning module offers Continuing Education Credit and/or a Certificate of Completion. Please refer to individual learning modules for specific details.
