On Friday November 7, 2014 Talent Development held the 1st Annual Talent Development Program/ URI Honors Program “A Celebration of Talent Development Honors Students.” Over 60 students were in attendance along with their families, TD Staff, as well as URI faculty and staff. URI President Dr. David M. Dooley, Provost Dr. Donald DeHayes, Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Thomas R. Dougan, and URI Honors Program Director Dr. Lynne Derbyshire, headlined the speaking program. Students in attendance were awarded an official certificate for honors eligibility, and were also given different perspectives of the honors Program from current honors students: Benjamin Concepcion, Alyssa Mason, and Kevin Pajaro. There was a brief question and answer period and the program came to a close. It was however, a historic and monumental event for the Talent Development Program, once again expanding the legacy of TD Nation.
