The Talent Development Program is deeply saddened by the loss of one of our students and member of the TD Nation, Romario Rousseau, 20, who passed away on Saturday, the eighth of August, 2015.
Romario entered URI through TD during the summer of 2013 and was pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Romario was also active on campus through his membership with the multicultural student organization Brothers On a New Direction (BOND) where he was also elected as Secretary on the executive board for the 2015-16 academic year.
As a member of the TD Nation we will forever remember Romario for his respectful demeanor, glowing personality and for how much he cared for others within the community. The entire Talent Development Program, staff and students alike, will miss him terribly, and he and his family will remain in our thoughts and prayers.
