On Saturday, October 17, 2015, the College Crusade of Rhode Island hosted their annual Getting to College Conference at E-Cubed Academy in Providence. This event provides high school seniors with vital information about beginning the college application process. On this year’s agenda was college essay writing and financial aid workshops, along with an informative panel discussion regarding educational partnerships offered at public higher education institutions throughout the state. Contributing panelists included: Kristina Moyet, Coordinator, University of Rhode Island’s Talent Development Program; LaTanya Monteiro, Educational Support Facilitator, Rhode Island College’s Learning for Life Program; and Michelle Bourgeois, Concierge Coordinator, Community College of Rhode Island’s Connect to College Program.
