Vice President Tom Dougan says his goodbyes after 30 years of service to URI

After 30 years of service as URI’s Vice President of Student Affairs, Dr. Tom Dougan will be retiring from the University of Rhode Island.  On December 16th, 2015, the university hosted an event in his honor in the Memorial Union Ballroom. The purpose of the event was to acknowledge Dr. Dougan’s work and the legacy he will leave the URI community.

Known for putting the well-being of the students first, Dr. Dougan was respected by both Academic and Student Affairs alike. Dr. Dougan has been a long time friend and advocate for the Talent Development Program and will be missed greatly for all of the work he has put in and services that he has provided our program.  Talent Development wishes Dr. Dougan nothing but the best in what the future holds for him. We will forever recognize him as a lifelong member of the TD Nation Family.
