The Talent Development Program would like to take this time to congratulate TD Nation alumna; former TD Academic Advisor; current interim Director of URI’s Multicultural Student Services Center (MSSC), Karoline Oliveira for successfully completing doctorate in Educational Leadership from Johnson and Wales University, hence earning her the title Dr. Karoline Oliveira, Ed.D.

Karoline was a student activist since entering URI as an active member of both the Black Student Leadership Group (BSLG) and the Cape Verdean Students Association (CVSA). She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies in 1994 and her Master’s Degree in College Student Personnel in 2003 both from URI. Karoline is a very dedicated supporter of TD Nation and all University diversity initiatives as well as a longtime advocate for our students.
