Biography

As we Rhody Rams say, I’m Rhode Island born and I’m Rhode Island bred! I grew up in North Kingstown, RI and currently reside in Wyoming, RI with my fiancé and dog (and soon to be baby boy!). I am a triple alum of URI–B.S. in Wildlife and Conservation Biology in 2007, M.A. in Education in 2015, and Ph.D. in Education in 2020! Somehow, my winding path of education and life experience brought me to TD in August 2017. One of my research interests is the sense of belonging of college students, so helping TD Scholars find a strong sense of community at URI and in TD Nation is so important to me. I am also clearly committed to the University of Rhode Island and want everyone to enjoy their time here as much as I did (and still do). My work in TD, other than advising my awesome scholars, is assessing Talent Development as a program and making sure the needs of all our scholars are met.
